Clinton Proposes Affordable Health Insurance For All
Hillary Clinton has long been an advocate of reform to America’s healthcare system and the plans which she has unveiled as part of her presidential campaign are ambitious to say the least. In effect she proposes a health insurance system which would be compulsory for all Americans and which would be based on a partnership between both the public and private providers. But could such a system work and would it provide truly affordable health insurance for all? Well, only the result of the election and time will of course answer this question but at an estimated cost of $110 billion a year (a figure which many feel is far too conservative) it is hard to see just how Hillary’s scheme will bring costs down.
