Hearing Aid Repairs…To Repair Or not to Repair
Repairs of anything can be costly and time consuming. Needing hearing aid repairs done is no different. In most cases a hearing aid will come with a 1 year warranty. However, as is usually the case, things don’t go wrong during the initial warranty period. Murphy’s Law dictates things break the day after it expires. For some an extended warranty is available and not a bad idea. It is also important to think about the age of the hearing aid. How has technology improved since the hearing aid was purchased? Best advice is to keep a back up aid if you can or get a loaner hearing aid from the doctor if available.
