How Do They Diagnose Asthma?
I am wondering how asthma is diagnosed, is there an asthma test? A lot of the symptoms of asthma seem similar to those of various other conditions involving the lungs, so how do they figure out if it is asthma and not something else? My niece has started having some of the common asthma symptoms, and my sister is planning to make an appointment with her doctor to get a diagnosis and try to improve her condition, whatever it may turn out to be. My sister thinks it is most likely some kind of allergy (like dust or pollen) since she has been diagnosed with other allergies.
