How do you treat ADHD?
With what we know about ADHD these days there have been a lot of advancements in how we treat this condition. The first step is figuring out for sure if this is the case (that your child has ADHD), the next is to diagnose what the most dominant symptoms are, as this will help to create effective treatments. ADHD treatment can be as simple as taking prescription drugs, or as complex as going through therapy, taking prescription drugs (like Ritalin and others) and behavior modification. There are many known symptoms that clue you into the signs of what brand of ADHD your child has and the best way to go about treating it. If simple therapy could resolve it then giving the child prescription drugs may not be the best thing to do.
