Linking Health Problems with Hair Loss

In looking for a cure for hair loss, researches continue to suggest that there is a link between various health problems and hair loss, there is still no conclusive evidence. However, the following observations have been made over a period of time.People who are HIV positive or who suffer from AIDS can experience hair loss, and this is chiefly attributed to their immune system being weak. Besides, some of the drugs used to treat the condition can also result in hair loss as a resultant side effect.Suffering from thyroid diseases including both hypothyroid and hyperthyroid, can also result in hair loss depending on what medication you are on. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy, used to battle cancer, can also result in substantial hair loss. While patients are told that hair generally grows back after these therapies are stopped, it isn’t always necessary.
