My Ex the Addict
When I was in college I dated a guy who I thought that I was going to marry. His brother was my best friend. His mom and I got along so well that we went shopping together and chatted on the phone. He had a three year old son who I was in love with. It was a long distance relationship since he was at home and I was away at school. When I came home for an extended vacation I discovered that he was addicted to marijuana. I wanted him to do a marijuana detox, but he refused. It was really hard to do so, but I felt that breaking up with him was my only choice.
