I went to visit my grandpa today. He had shingles. I felt so badly for him, because he was in a lot of pain. I have never had them, so I do not know what they feel like, but everyone who has had them says that they are very painful. My sister was going to go with me, but she was not able to. She is pregnant, and expecting mothers should not be around people who have them. This can cause serious complications for the mother and the child.
