Yoga block – For more challenging poses

A yoga block is used more widely in certain schools of yoga like the Iyengar School of yoga than compared to other schools of yoga. But, whichever school of yoga you practice, yoga blocks come in handy once in awhile at least. According to Susan at Yoga Blocks Central the whole aim of the yoga block is to give sufficient support so that the body can do the asana properly and without causing any inadvertent injury to itself. As you graduate to more difficult poses, the usage of yoga blocks will become more common as the more challenging poses will require your body to have that additional support.
