New Treatment For Cervical Spine Stenosis
August 23rd, 2008
We are all too familiar with pain symptoms related to our backs and/or necks. Our spines are expected to hold our bodies erect and act as the anchor by which the rest of our tissue can anchor itself. We expect a lot from this structure but we don’t always take good care of it.
There is a new application for the treatment of neck pain called the Cervical Posture Pump. It was designed to increase the mobility of the neck and reduce neck pain as the result of cervical stenosis.
Preliminary findings are said to be exciting. MRI results of the study group showed marked changes in the cervical curves such as widening of disc spaces and shrinkage of disc bulges. Also, some study subjects indicated that their migraine headaches dramatically improved following the 20 minute application of the posture pump.
